Appartements 3 vallées, piscine et sauna Overview
First Impressions
When you first arrive at Appartements 3 vallées, piscine et sauna, you’ll immediately understand why couples rate this three-star property so highly. Tucked away in the peaceful Hameau des eaux area of Orelle, it feels like you’ve discovered a hidden gem in the French Alps. The building has that authentic mountain charm without trying too hard — you know what I mean, no fake rustic overdoing it. What really struck me was how quiet it is here, especially after the winding drive up from the valley. The setting truly captures the essence of Alpine tranquility.
Location & Mountain Access
Honestly, the location is probably the biggest selling point. You’re positioned perfectly for accessing the Trois Vallées ski area, but far enough from the main tourist crowds that you actually get some peace. The free parking is a godsend — I mean, anyone who’s tried to find parking in Alpine resort towns knows how valuable this is. Orelle itself is this charming little village that most tourists skip right over, which works in your favor. The cable car to Val Thorens is accessible, but you’ll want a car to get around comfortably. This location offers the perfect balance of accessibility and seclusion.
The Apartments
These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper apartments with kitchenettes that actually work well. The furnishings are modern without being sterile, and there’s enough space to spread out after a day on the slopes. What I appreciated most was the attention to practical details: good storage for ski gear, decent Wi-Fi, and windows that frame those mountain views perfectly. The apartments feel like someone’s well-maintained second home rather than a generic rental property. Each space is thoughtfully designed for comfort and functionality.
Pool, Sauna & Relaxation
After spending hours in the cold mountain air, that heated pool and sauna become your best friends. The pool area is compact but well-designed — not huge, but perfect for a few relaxing laps or just floating around. The sauna is where you’ll really unwind though. There’s something about sitting in that dry heat after skiing that just melts away all the muscle tension. Both facilities are kept impeccably clean, and they’re rarely overcrowded since the property maintains that intimate, residential feel. These amenities truly enhance the overall experience.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back is the combination of authentic Alpine location with modern comfort. You get the best of both worlds — access to world-class skiing without the resort town prices and crowds. The fact that couples consistently rate it so highly tells you something about the romantic appeal of the setting. It’s the kind of place where you can cook a simple dinner in your apartment, soak in the pool as the sun sets behind the peaks, and actually feel like you’re experiencing the real French Alps rather than just visiting them. This property delivers an unforgettable mountain retreat.
Apartments in Courchevel provide travelers with an authentic local experience, allowing them to shop at traditional Alpine markets and cook with fresh ingredients from the renowned Savoyard culinary traditions.

Cheap. Skiing in the 3 vallees and sleeping for a reasonable price

Great apartment, quite spacious for a family of 5.
Big fridge/freezer, hob, microwave and a much appreciated electric kettle! Big kitchen table that doesn’t need moving to get the sofa bed out (a huge bonus of this apartment).
I’m not sure that it would work for 6 people as the sofa bed for the 6th person would be right across the door to one of the bedrooms.James from United Kingdom (7/10)
Katia the host was lovely 🙂
Spa was really good and was much needed at the end of a day skiing
On site restaurant was really good.
On site shop was convenient but on the expensive side.
Skiing was really good when you get on the slopes and is a much cheaper alternative then staying in the traditional resorts.
Room was big and well equipped.Christian from France (8/10)
Great spa facilities and good family restaurant

The host is a conman, who will impose extra fees the moment you arrive.
The apartment was very dusty and triggers all sorts of allergies. My first bad review in 11 years of BookingsCathy from United Kingdom (9/10)
The property was spacious and perfect for our stay. The onsite shop was useful and the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating, the times said order by 1pm for takeaway but they always managed to cater for us even when we forget and ordered late. Highly recommend the Chorizo pizza and tartiflette! 😋
The high speed gondola to the top, a few minutes drive away worked a treat with lots of free parking at the bottom, I’m sure the walk was doable but we didn’t fancy it! We had a hire car so could come and go at our convenience, there was also a ski bus but be prepared to wait as it was very popular!
The ski locker rooms at the gondola station were amazing and ski shop staff were friendly and helpful.
All in all a fantastic few days with some great snow!Eileen from Canada (5/10)
Beds were comfortable. Raclette machine. The lady who greeted us was on time, friendly, bilingual & helpful with tips for our visit.
