  location all about the location but in winter you need to be a decent skier to get down the icy track at the end of the day. staff were super attentive and food was excellent.

  we loved the location- the restaurant had closed one week prior due to poor ski access so we had the place to ourselves

  Excellent breakfast and very good evening meals, typical Savoyard dinners, a little on the heavy side with lots of sauces and cheese. Very good atmosphere in the Chalet, it is very quiet in the evenings, perfect if you want to relax after a full day at the slopes skiing. Open air Jacuzzi and sauna by the snow. Owners were very helpful in dealing with an issue at the end of the stay (non availability of taxis to bring us to Aime).

  Wir waren eine Woche im Chalet du Friolin.
  Es ist im Winter nicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen und man wird am Parkplatz (ca. 5 km entfernt) mit dem Schneemobil abgeholt.
  Auf Grund der Pistenöffnungszeiten erfolgt die Anreise erst ab 17:30 und die Abreise vor 08:00 Uhr.
  Das hat super geklappt und es wurde auch mit dem Gepäck geholfen.
  Das Chalet entprach unseren Erwartungen und wir wurden sehr gut bedient.
  Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt.
  Das Abendessen bestand aus Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachspeise.
  Durch die direkte Lage am Lift war es Ski in/Ski out.
  Da wir leider vom Wetter her nicht unbedingt Glück hatten war unser Hauslift einen Tag komplett gesperrt und am nächsten Tag erst ab Mittags geöffnet, so dass wir nicht weggekommen sind.
  Spazierengehen kann man, aber es gibt nur einen Weg in Richting Dorf, den wir wettertechnisch 3 x gelaufen sind.
  Die Sauna war leider kaputt, so dass wir diese nicht benutzen konnten.
  Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt – hierfür ein Dankeschön.
