Reviews of Chalet Hotel La Tarine

  • Jennifer from United States (9/10)

The location, the food quality and the attentiveness of everyone from the owners to the staff. We were extremely grateful to Celine, owner of the hotel, for helping us get back to the hotel after we missed the lift down the mountain. Thank you for making our vacation and stay so delightful.

  • Nicky from United Kingdom (9/10)

Such hospitable staff, great find. Highly recommend

  • Layla from United Kingdom (9/10)

The breakfast options were very good and you could certainly ensure you had enough to feel ready for a good day's ski. The environment where both breakfast and dinners were served were cosy, welcoming and well organised.

  • Aviram from Israel (9/10)

Céline was kind and responsive before and throughout the stay. She helped us with the Ski Passes, ESF & equipment rental. The staff were nice, food was great in the morning and at dinner (classic french restaurant).
The room was clean and the dtaff cleaned it daily.
The hotel isn't far from the lift. There are couple of stores near by to buy groceries.

  • Keithph from United Kingdom (9/10)

Very friendly hotel in Peisey, I would recommend having the half board option as there aren't that many eating options near hotel – food was excellent and can be swapped for other options (including fondue or raclette). Greg's bar is a good post ski bar which attracts locals as well as hotel residents. Hotel will arrange ski passes and give discount for ski hire at local shop. Has some parking behind but free parking is nearby.

  • Alex from United Kingdom (9/10)

    Friendly staff, comfortable rooms

  • Lia from United Kingdom (9/10)

extremely helpful and friendly staff, charming decor and very clean room, excellent breakfast

  • Vivien from United Kingdom (8/10)

Overall we really enjoyed Hotel Chalet at Tarine. All staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful. Dinner in the evening on Half Board, was excellent and there was a good selection of reasonably priced wine available too. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well run. Breakfast was also very good, although when the hotel was busier, the room was a little tight to get around. We very much appreciated being able to buy our ski passes from Madame and walk to the lift to access Plan Peisey, although this is an uphill walk on the way back!

  • Chris from United Kingdom (9/10)

Lovely family run hotel. Celine is really helpful and speaks perfect English. Half board option good value with varied and excellent food.

  • Neil from United Kingdom (9/10)

Good facilities, great breakfast and very helpful staff. good use of space and storage room.
