Hotel Le Saint Roch Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into Hotel Le Saint Roch, I honestly wasn’t prepared for how intimate and refined it would feel. This five-star property sits right on Piste de Bellecôte, which means you’re literally stepping out onto one of Courchevel‘s most coveted slopes. The lobby has this understated Alpine elegance — think rich woods and soft lighting rather than flashy chandeliers. You know what struck me most? The staff actually remembered my name after one night, which doesn’t happen often at luxury hotels.
Location & Ski Access
The location here is honestly unbeatable — I mean, you wake up and the slopes are right there. Piste de Bellecôte is one of those runs that intermediate skiers love because it’s wide and forgiving, but it also connects you to the entire Three Valleys system. What couples particularly love (and I can see why they rate it 9.0) is that you can ski down for lunch in the village, then easily make your way back up without dealing with crowded lifts. The hotel’s position in what’s considered the best-rated area of Courchevel isn’t just marketing speak — you’re genuinely in the sweet spot between accessibility and exclusivity.
The Room Experience
My room had floor-to-ceiling windows that framed the mountains perfectly, and the heated bathroom floors were a godsend after long days on the slopes. The design feels authentically Alpine without being kitschy — lots of natural materials and that cozy mountain lodge atmosphere. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail: proper blackout curtains for sleeping in, and a little seating area where you could actually relax with a book. The beds are seriously comfortable too, which matters when your legs are screaming from a day of skiing.
Dining & Amenities
The breakfast buffet is where this place really shines — fresh pastries, local cheeses, and honestly some of the best coffee I had during my entire stay in the Alps. They set it up in this bright dining area with mountain views, so you’re planning your ski routes while you eat. The spa facilities are compact but well-designed, perfect for unwinding after those challenging runs down to La Tania. And here’s something practical — they have private parking right at the hotel, which is actually a big deal in Courchevel where finding a spot can be a nightmare.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to Hotel Le Saint Roch is this combination of genuine luxury and that ski-in, ski-out convenience that’s getting harder to find. The service feels personal rather than stuffy, and the location means you’re spending more time on the mountain and less time figuring out logistics. I watched families easily manage their gear, and couples seemed to love the romantic mountain setting without sacrificing comfort. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Courchevel — not just staying near it.

Reviews of Hotel Le Saint Roch
Fahad from Saudi Arabia (9/10)
Our stay at the hotel was excellent. From the spacious room, to the location, facilities, and super friendly staff.
All the front desk team, Valentina and her colleagues, provided excellent service and have always taken the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay at the hotel (and a pleasant visit to Courchevel too!).
The hotel have proactively upgraded our room when they learned that we were on out Honeymoon (without having to ask for it!).
The shuttle bus crew were always very helpful and friendly and the service was always available whenever needed.
The hotel location is very good and close to the ski lifts, restaurants, and cafes.
As a couple, visiting Courchevel for the first time, the hotel team (led by Valentina and her entire team) made sure we have an amazing stay and get all the guidance and support we needed. We will definitely be back.
Thank you again if you are reading this.

I chose this hotel for the Alpin design and above all because it does not have many rooms, in this period I prefer safety. And indeed all my expectations and requests were met.
