Hotel Le Tremplin Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Hotel Le Tremplin on route Albert Gacon, I’ll be honest — the name had me curious (it means “springboard” in French, which makes perfect sense once you see the place). This four-star property sits right in what locals consider the sweet spot of Méribel, and you can tell immediately why couples are giving the location a near-perfect 9.9 rating. The ski-to-door access isn’t just marketing speak — you literally step out and you’re on the slopes, which is exactly what you want after lugging your gear around European airports.
Location Magic
Here’s what I love about where this hotel sits — it’s in that goldilocks zone where you’re close enough to the action but not drowning in the chaos of the main village center. The location score of 9.8 isn’t an accident; you’re actually positioned in what most seasoned Méribel visitors consider the best-rated area. I mean, when you can ski right to your door in the evening and then walk to decent restaurants without feeling like you need a sherpa, that’s when you know you’ve found something special. The route Albert Gacon address might not mean much until you’re here, but trust me — it’s prime real estate in ski terms.
The Room Experience
The rooms here strike that balance between mountain charm and modern comfort that’s honestly harder to find than you’d think. You know what impressed me most? The attention to practical details — proper room heating that actually works (crucial after a day on the mountain), and windows that frame the alpine scenery without making you feel like you’re living in a postcard. The décor leans into that French alpine aesthetic without going overboard, and there’s enough space to spread out your ski gear without turning the place into a equipment storage unit.
Morning Fuel
The buffet breakfast deserves its own mention because, well, it’s one of those meals that can make or break a ski trip. They’ve got the French pastry game down obviously, but what surprised me was how well they cater to different appetites — whether you’re the type who needs a massive meal before hitting the black runs or someone who prefers lighter fare. The timing works perfectly too; you can fuel up and be on the slopes while they’re still perfectly groomed, which any serious skier will appreciate.
Why Guests Love It
The private parking might seem like a small thing until you’re dealing with Méribel’s winter logistics — then it becomes absolutely essential. But honestly, it’s the combination of factors that makes this place work so well. The 7.9 overall rating reflects what I experienced: solid four-star comfort in an unbeatable location, with staff who understand that ski holidays have their own rhythm and needs. Couples especially seem to get it — there’s something about being able to disappear onto the mountain during the day and then retreat to a cozy base that just works for romantic getaways.

Reviews of Hotel Le Tremplin
Thomas from United States (8/10)
Hotel Le Tremplin far exceeded our expectations and made our honeymoon so so special. From the minute of our arrival we were greeted with a beautiful arrangement in our room along with daily house keeping and the most friendly hotel staff. Not to mention, we ate the most amazing breakfast you’ll ever have every single morning. The hotel is very close to ski lifts and easy to rent skis from a variety of places. Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. If you’re thinking about Méribel, staying here is an absolute must!

Great location in town, small walk to the ski lifts. Clean and cosy. Great breakfast (above expectations). Small, but to be expected for a European hotel room. Would return again.Paul from United Kingdom (8/10)

Super location. It couldn't be any closer. The outside of the building is charming and the setting/back drop is incredible.
The breakfast is good. Hot options leave a bit to be desired, but you can ask for various types of eggs which is nice.
Skiing luggage locker was great and very easy to access.Alex from Romania (8/10)
