Hôtel les Campanules by Les Etincelles Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Hôtel les Campanules by Les Etincelles for the first time, you immediately get that cozy Alpine vibe that makes Tignes so special. The hotel sits perfectly positioned on Montée Du Rosset, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better — I mean, there’s a reason couples are rating it 9.2 out of 10. This four-star property has that authentic mountain charm without feeling stuffy or overly formal, which is exactly what you want after a day on the slopes.
The Perfect Mountain Perch
What really struck me about this place is how the staff at Les Etincelles have managed to create something that feels both intimate and well-connected to everything Tignes has to offer. You’re not stuck way up some remote mountainside, but you’re also not dealing with the chaos of being right in the thick of tourist central. The recent guest rating of 9.3 for location makes total sense when you experience it firsthand — you can actually walk to the main ski areas without that exhausting trek that some mountain hotels force on you.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had that perfect balance of mountain rustic and modern comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in Alpine hotels. You know what I appreciated most? The attention to those little details that matter when you’re tired from skiing all day. The heating actually works properly (trust me, this isn’t always a given in mountain hotels), and the windows frame the surrounding peaks in a way that makes you want to just sit there with your morning coffee. The overall 8.4 rating really reflects how they’ve nailed the fundamentals without trying to be overly flashy.
Food That Actually Delivers
Here’s where Hôtel les Campanules really surprised me — the food is genuinely excellent, not just “good for a ski hotel.” The breakfast setup offers both continental and buffet options, which gives you flexibility depending on whether you’re rushing to catch first tracks or taking a leisurely morning. But honestly, it’s the dinner service at the restaurant that had me coming back each night instead of wandering around Tignes looking for something decent. When the property highlights specifically mention that meals are highly recommended, they’re not just marketing fluff — the kitchen actually knows what they’re doing.
Why Guests Love It
After spending several nights here, I can see why this place has developed such a loyal following. It’s that rare combination of being professionally run without feeling corporate, and authentically Alpine without being kitschy. The Les Etincelles team has created something that works whether you’re here for serious skiing, a romantic getaway (hence those high couple ratings), or just want a proper mountain retreat. You’ll find yourself recommending it to friends not because it’s the fanciest place in Tignes, but because it simply gets everything right in a way that makes your whole trip better.
Apartments in Courchevel provide travelers with an authentic local experience, allowing them to shop at traditional Alpine markets and cook with fresh ingredients from the renowned Savoyard culinary traditions.

The location was perfect, the views from our room, the staff were friendly and helpful, we had two dinners in the hotel which were both very nice. They provided us with a lovely breakfast box as we had an early check out. Breakfast was pleasant, nothing to get excited about, it would be nice to be able to order eggs freshly cooked from the kitchen rather than a machine to boil them yourself especially when the water was never the right temperature.

Family room was very good, and a comfortable space. The view from the restaurant was lovely in the morning, looking out over the mountains and the busy ski lifts. The friendly staff were fantastic and helpful. We had a very nice time at the pool – it was nice and warm even though its an open air pool. Would visit again! Tignes is a great resort!
