  The location of this apartment is a real asset – very short walking distance from the Vallandry cable car (approx. 200 meters) and short one to the Vanoise Express (approx. 400 meters). This gives a great opportunity to explore whole Paradiski region. And the host is able to support you with the ski passes purchase, they can wait for you in the apartment. The property is equipped with everything you need during the stay: bed linen, towels, dishes, glasses, cutlery, some pots to prepare simple dishes. The apartment is the best fit for a couple or a family of 3. For more people it could be a bit too small. Mark, the host, is very communicative and supporting. There are ski lockers in the basement of the building and the apartment has its one there too. There are bars and small restaurants around the cable car area, there is a Sherpa grocery store and very good bakery with fresh baguettes and croissants. What you need there only are good snow conditions and you are all set :-). What could be annoying is quite late start of the cable car (9:15) but it’s beyond Mark’s control.

  The apartment was small but well equipped, situated about 200 metres from bottom of Vallandry chairlift, and close to shops and restaurants.

  Nice little apartment ; ideal for 2, would be a bit of a squeeze with 4 I feel. Everything there that you need for self-catering. Free parking just out front, ski locker down at ground level. At the back of the block so gets morning sun, and no road noise (not that the road is busy). About 100m of pretty flat ground to walk to a good ski lift in the mornings, and even with no recent snow we could ski half that distance to be very close coming back. Would happily come here again as Vallandry really nicely placed for Les Arcs and La Plagne. Host Mark pointed us at a discount deal for (excellent) skis, and got our (also discounted) lift passes for us; his recommendation of Carre Neige proved very useful. Getting the combined pass 'Essential' for both areas gets you some useful extras, especially the 'fast lane' for some of the busier lift queues (would be well worth the money if there during eg school holidays)…
