And honestly, the little things mattered—like how the hallway smelled faintly of woodsmoke (probably from the shared fireplace downstairs), or how quiet it was by 10 p.m., even during peak season. Parking’s a bit of a shuffle—there’s a communal lot, but you’ve got to book ahead, and yeah, it’s not right at the door. But honestly, once you’re settled, you don’t need the car. Grab your skis, walk down past the boulangerie (the one with the sourdough that cracks just right), and you’re at the base area before your toes get cold.

I’ll say this—the rating’s an 8.3, and I get why it’s not a 9. The elevators can be slow after a long ski day, and the decor leans into that “rustic-chic-with-a-capital-C” thing that’s everywhere now. But here’s the thing: it feels lived-in, not staged. Families leave mittens drying on radiators, you chat with the same guy in the lobby every morning who’s also hunting for the ski storage key. It’s not perfect, but it’s real. And after a day on the slopes, when you’re back, thawing out with a glass of vin chaud from the local cave, you don’t want perfect. You want warm. You want easy. You want to know where the quiet stairwell is, which balcony catches the afternoon sun, and that the Wi-Fi actually works when you’re trying to send that one photo to your mom. Le Pacha’s got that. Not flashy, not trying too hard—just solid, smart, and sort of… kind of exactly what you need.

  Perfect location for ski lifts only 5 minutes walk. Cozy apartment for 2 people with good facilities, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine also some provisions included e.g sugar, coffee, tea, foil, film.

  This apartment was perfect for a couple and very cosy. There was no need to buy anything for washing, cooking etc because there was foil, wrap, oil, sugar, salt & pepper, nespresso pods for the machine, dishwasher tabs, washing liquid, toilet paper, kitchen roll, etc.. We liked the ‘hatch’ between the bedroom and living room and the balcony with table and chairs. Marlene and Dominique gave us brilliant welcome instructions making getting into the apartment so easy and also for parking the car in the secure garage across the street. They also advised us to do a food shop in Mouliers on the way up to Courchevel because most food shops in Courchevel were shut, which was great advice! Even though they live in Lyon they visited us to make sure we were happy and gave us some good information for bike hire and walking trails. Marlene and Dominique’s kindness was so much appreciated. The location is quite near the ski lifts, within 400 meters which would make it a perfect base for skiing, so we would definitely consider staying here if we decide to ski in Courchevel in future.
