You know the type—comfortable, no pretense, and you actually feel like you can kick off your boots without someone wincing.

I’ll admit, the check-in was a little old-school—reception’s small, and the staff aren’t exactly rushing to greet you with champagne. But once you’re in, the apartment-style setup makes all the difference. My place had this warm wood paneling, a kitchenette that actually had decent pots (tried making raclette—don’t judge), and a balcony facing the trees, not the parking lot. That mattered. You wake up to snow-laden pines, not car headlights. And the location? Honestly, it’s kind of perfect. Five-minute drive or a 15-minute walk (depending how loaded your backpack is) to the Chaudannes lifts—there’s a little shuttle, but honestly, I preferred walking in the morning when the air was crisp and silent, just the crunch of snow underfoot. (Pro tip: go before 8:30 if you want first tracks—everyone else is still queuing for the main gondola.)

It’s not some sleek boutique spot—some of the furniture’s seen a few winters, and the elevators can be slow after ski school lets out—but that’s part of the deal. You’re trading gloss for space and value. Families love it because the apartments mean kids can crash in one room while you sip wine in the other. And there’s parking, which in Courchevel? That’s basically gold. I stayed in late January, and it was busy but never loud—more like a hum of happy people coming back to warm up with hot chocolate.   Résidence très bien situé. Pas besoin de prendre de navette pour aller skier .

  What could be improved: Le chauffage de l appartement a été fait au dernier moment .glacial pendant quasiment 12h . L entrée dans laquelle il y a lit superposé pas chauffée.trooop froid.

  1. On the slope. Really. 2. Dishwasher + tablets. 3. Filter coffee maker. 4. View 5. Clean 6. Washing machine with powder 7. Bus station near 8. Separated very small bedroom with only double bed. No space for anything else. 9. Very big sofa in the living room, for 2 people to sleep on it
  
  What could be improved: There is NO WI FI!!!!! It is unbelievable.
  1. It is not for 6 people, max.for 4. There is a double-decker bed in the hall 30 cm away from the front door. A) there is no heating in the hall + b) it blows very much from the front door. It is impossible to sleep there. Luckily, we were 3 people. 2. The toilet lock was broken. 3. No filters for coffee maker 4. Only 1 mirror in the bathroom 5. Very few plugs 6. Ski-locker is very small, and it is not warm. It is for 2-3 ski/snowboards, and it is only a wooden box outside 6. The elevator goes only between the 2nd and 6th floors. From 0 floor to 2nd you need to take the stairs with your luggage 7. The supermarket is 10-12 min walk down the hill 8. Super small tra cups 9. There was garbage on the balcony from previous guests

  Die Lage direkt an einer Skipiste, so dass man direkt vom Haus und wieder bis zum Haus auf Ski fahren konnte
  Die unkomplizierte Übernahme und Rückgabe der Wohnung.
  
  What could be improved: Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist schon älteren Datums und auf das Nötigste beschränkt. Zu zweit OK. für Eltern mit zwei kleinen Kindern machbar. Mehr geht nicht.
  Eine andere Wohnung zum gleichen Preis auf derselben Etage war erheblich besser eingerichtet und ausgestattet.
  Die Betten waren sehr schmal und wohl nur 1.90 Meter lang. Sehr spitze Ecken, an denen man sich in dem sehr kleinen Schlafzimmer unangenehm stoßen kann
