You’re not right on the main drag, thank god—no late-night stomping from après-ski crowds—but you’re still a five-minute walk from the Jardin Alpin lifts. Seriously, just cut through the little path behind Bâtiment B (there’s a snow-packed trail most people miss), and you’re there. Saves you the hassle of fighting the shuttle buses when they’re packed during peak week. Parking’s actually manageable too, which is rare around here—there’s a semi-private lot behind the building, and if you book early, you can snag a spot. No garage, so don’t expect heated valet, but hey, it’s Courchevel—be grateful you found space at all.

Now, the studio itself—mine was on the third floor, small but sharp. Big south-facing window, so you get that morning sun spilling across the hardwood, which feels like a gift when it’s -10 outside. The kitchenette’s basic (two burners, a fridge that hums like it’s trying its best), but I used it to heat up leftovers from Le Petit Savoyard, this tiny crêperie down on Rue de l’Ariondaz. Their tartiflette? Life-changing. And quiet at night—well, mostly. You hear the occasional *whoosh* of snow groomers around midnight, but honestly, that’s kind of soothing after a few days. It means the runs will be perfect in the morning.

Look, if you’re after marble bathrooms and a champagne bar, this isn’t your spot. But if you want a cozy, no-nonsense base that doesn’t bleed your wallet dry (because, ouch, Courchevel prices), and you actually plan to *ski* instead of just pose in the lobby—this makes sense. I gave it an 8.7 in my head too, and that feels right. Solid, real, and just far enough off the circus to feel like you’ve found a little pocket of the mountain that hasn’t been totally polished for tourists. Bring slippers. The floors get cold.
