Chalet Hotel Kaya Overview
First Impressions
When I first spotted Chalet Hotel Kaya nestled in the Reberty village area, I honestly wasn’t expecting much — but this four-star property completely changed my mind about Les Menuires. The whole place has this authentic Alpine charm that feels genuine, not touristy, and you can literally ski right up to the door after a day on the slopes. I mean, how perfect is that when you’re exhausted and just want to collapse somewhere warm?
Location Magic
Here’s what I love about where this place sits — you’re in Reberty, which locals will tell you is actually the sweet spot of Les Menuires. It’s high enough that you get those incredible mountain views (seriously, wake up to peaks right outside your window), but you’re not isolated from everything. The ski lifts are basically on your doorstep, and honestly, after staying here, I can’t imagine trudging through snow with all my gear to reach the slopes. Couples seem to get this location thing too — I kept running into pairs who’d clearly done their research and picked this spot specifically.
The Room Experience
You know what surprised me most? The beds are actually incredible here. I’m usually a light sleeper, especially in mountain hotels where you hear everything, but I slept like a rock every single night. The room itself has that cozy chalet vibe — wooden accents, mountain-style furnishings — but everything feels fresh and well-maintained. There’s something about the way they’ve balanced rustic charm with modern comfort that just works.
Morning Fuel
Breakfast here is honestly one of those experiences that sets the tone for your whole day on the mountain. They’ve got this buffet setup with continental options, but here’s the thing — they also do a proper full English breakfast if you need something heartier before hitting the slopes. I appreciated having vegetarian choices too, which isn’t always a given in these mountain spots. The dining area has these big windows looking out at the peaks, so you’re basically planning your ski routes while you eat.
Why Guests Love It
After talking to other guests and experiencing it myself, I get why this place has such high ratings. It’s that combination of being able to ski right to the door, sleep incredibly well, and wake up in what feels like the best part of Les Menuires. The parking situation is sorted (which, trust me, matters when you’re dealing with mountain weather), and the whole operation just feels like someone actually thought about what skiers need. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place on the mountain — it’s just really, really good at being exactly what you want after a day in the Alps.

Reviews of Chalet Hotel Kaya

Excellent position. Highest point in Les menuires. Easy to ski down to sunny and miss any queues (not that there were any really at Easter at all). Family room with two bedrooms (feels more like a small apartment) has great views and a lovely little snug bedroom with bunk beds for kids. Swimming pool is fantastic. Food is excellent.
Lovely meals (if you fancy something different/cheap then pizza Lili is a good option). We didn't go half board but it would be a good option. Breakfast is delicious.
Staff are all really nice and helpful. Ski hire is next door/connected to hotel
Prosneige ski school was great (and Jacks cafe next to it is good/good value/good coffee)Joe from United Kingdom (10/10)

The suite and balcony were fantastic. Lots of space for our family of 4. Good location right next to the bus stop and piste. The bar area was really lovely. There was no fridge in the room as they had taken them out but they put one in for us when we asked. Breakfast was really great.

Kaya is a lovely place to spend a few days. The facilities are great and the rooms are very comfortable with nice touches. Very comfortable beds, quality toiletries, coffee machines and welcoming decor.
Plenty of choice at breakfast, and the reception team are obliging, professional but warm and friendly.

The rooms are super calm, coupled with the comfort of the bed and sheets, you get some quality sleep here! The bathroom looked freshly renovated, and the bathrobe was really soft and cozy.
The breakfast offer is endless, you get cheese from the region, great charcuterie, viennoiseries, and the chef is dedicated to preparing any kind of eggs. I think you can even ask for crêpes. A huge plus is that you are able to freshly squeeze your own orange juice.
The staff is really friendly yet professional, always available if anything is needed. I can definitely say that they played a huge role in the quality of the hotel and stay.Ramzi from United Kingdom (9/10)
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The ski locker facilities were excellent with boot warmers. The afternoon snacks served at 4pm are delicious and very welcomed after a day of skiing. The breakfasts are excellent with lots of choice.
