Hôtel de la Loze Overview

I’ll be honest — when I first pulled up to Hôtel de la Loze, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Courchevel’s full of flashy five-star spots that feel more like palaces than places you’d actually want to relax, you know? But this one? It’s different. Nestled on Rue Park City, just a quick shuffle from the Jardin Alpin gondola, it’s got that rare mix of understated elegance and real warmth. You walk in, and it’s not about chandeliers or marble floors — though, sure, there’s a bit of both — it’s the smell of wood fire and fresh bread from the little breakfast nook that hits you first. And the staff? They remember your name by day two. Not in a creepy way — in the *“oh, you’re back for coffee, perfect”* kind of way.

It’s a four-star, but honestly, it feels like more. The rooms are cozy without being tight — think thick wool blankets, floor-to-ceiling windows with that crisp mountain light pouring in, and balconies where you can actually hear the snow settling at night (no traffic, no music from the bar next door — just quiet). I stayed in January, peak season, and even with the place nearly full, it never felt loud. Maybe it’s the stone walls or the way the corridors are laid out, but sound doesn’t carry. And the spa — tiny, yeah, but the sauna overlooks the trees, and after a day on the slopes, that 10-minute steam with a view of the pines dusted in snow? Worth it.

Breakfast is served late enough that you don’t have to rush (they do hot items till 10:30, which is a win when you’ve been out late at La Folie Douce). And if you’re driving, there’s underground parking — not always a given here — though you won’t need it much. Everything’s close. The little bakery on the corner opens at 7 for fresh croissants, and Le 1947 — that fancy Michelin spot — is just a five-minute walk, but honestly, the hotel’s own restaurant, La Loze, does a killer tartiflette with a glass of local Vin de Savoie that’s hard to beat.

Rating’s 9.1 — and I get it. It’s not perfect. The elevator’s a bit slow, and the Wi-Fi stutters if you’re streaming in the attic rooms. But you’re in the Alps to unplug, right? What it lacks in tech, it makes up for in soul. I’ve stayed in fancier places that felt colder than the ski lift at 8 a.m. This one? It feels like coming home.

It was an amazing moments we have spent in this hotel. Everything was great, breakfast, workers, hospitality. Guys on the hotel were very helpful, they did many things for us such as booking tickets and restaurants reservations. Also, provided gifts. Also, the perfect moment was Tea break from 3:30 to 6 pm. In general the atmosphere in the hotel makes you love the moment with Antique feeling. I really thanks all members in this amazing hotel and I will definitely back.

The location of the LOZE Hotel was excellent, so close to the lifts the French Ski-School, also the ski-hire faculty actually in the lower level of the Hotel Building was very convenient as was the ski and equipment area adjacent to the hire shop.
The large lounge next to the check-in and 24 hour concierge service was somewhere to sit with a drink provided , even cake and afternoon tea and coffee was very welcoming and breakfast served there for everyone until 10.00 a.m brought the guests in contact with each other in a family setting.
the staff were all very open , helpful and interested in how
we felt about the La Loze experience and Courchevel as a ski- resort
